ADNEC in facts
Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre stands on Khaleej Al Arabi Street in the Al Safarat district, about twenty minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport and next to the Aloft and Andaz hotels, which are connected to the halls. Twelve main halls run along a single concourse; the ICC Hall and the Capital Suite conference rooms sit at the far end, and the outdoor areas take vehicles, rigs and heavy machinery for the energy and defence shows. ADIPEC uses seventeen halls including the outdoor space, which makes it the largest show in the emirate.
From Dubai the drive along the E11 takes around ninety minutes outside rush hour. For a show day we leave Dubai before dawn or stay in a hotel at the venue for multi-day bookings; either way we are on the stand before the doors open.
Working a show day in the capital
The rhythm is the same as in Dubai: clean stand set and team portraits before opening, visitors and demos from the edge of the stand, interviews in a quiet slot, editing on site from midday so the first selects and the day clip arrive before the hall closes. Government-hosted shows in Abu Dhabi add two things: heavily secured openings with ministerial tours, which we cover from the positions the organiser allows, and strict accreditation, which we prepare with you weeks ahead through the show's media or exhibitor office.
Outdoor displays at ADNEC are photographed early in the morning and after sunset, when the light is soft and the heat is bearable. Evening receptions at the hotels attached to the venue or on Yas Island are covered by the same crew on the same booking.

How do you get to ADNEC from Dubai?

How does accreditation work at ADIPEC?
Exhibitor or contractor badges are registered by you; press accreditation goes through the ADIPEC media centre and we prepare it with you weeks ahead. Ministerial tours and the opening are covered from permitted positions.
Can you photograph outdoor displays?
Yes, early in the morning and after sunset for soft light; midday sun is avoided for both image quality and heat.
Do you cover evening events on Yas Island or at the venue hotels?
