Spaces and how they are used
A single large hall with production rigging, a stage end and a flat floor that is set for seated ceremonies, banquets or exhibition stands depending on the event. Loading is from the service side; the audience enters from the concourse. The adjoining Sheikh Rashid and Sheikh Maktoum halls are used for breakouts and dinners.
Light, sound, access and timing
Light. Fully rigged stage lighting; house lights low during shows, so fast lenses and matched shutter speeds for LED walls. Sound. Desk feed from the production company; we confirm the feed and camera positions at the rehearsal. Access. Exhibitor or production badges via the organiser; the concourse connects to the metro and the hotels. Timing. Ceremonies run to a tight run of show; camera positions are fixed in advance.
