The brief
SolydEra is an Italian manufacturer of solid oxide fuel cells and electrolysis systems, based in Trentino, whose fuel cell systems are being trialled as on-site power for data centres. At DCD Connect | MENA 2026, the data centre industry’s conference for the Middle East and North Africa at Grand Hyatt Dubai, SolydEra Group CEO Dr. Alexander Liberov spoke on the Spotlight Stage and joined the debate “Greenwashed gigawatts? Can hyperscale growth align with sustainability goals?”. The brief: executive photography and a short film the team could publish while the conference was still running.
What we did
Our crew followed the CEO through the day: portraits at the DCD flower wall and in the hotel atrium before the doors opened, the keynote on the Spotlight Stage, the panel debate from the front and from the back of the room, conversations in the exhibition area, and clean executive headshots in the natural light of the lobby. A short interview was recorded on the exhibition floor with lavalier sound.
The 93-second film above, with SolydEra’s lower thirds and logo, was cut on site. Alongside it we cut four debate highlights from the panel recording, each built around one of the CEO’s answers, so the team could publish a new clip every day of the following week. All five films and the photo selects were delivered on the evening of day one, ready for LinkedIn and the press team.
Why it matters
